FOR PARENTS & GROWN-UPS

Privacy, plainly explained

This explains the Dino Letter Hunt iPhone and iPad app and this informational website.

Updated 23 September 2026

The iPhone and iPad app

The iPhone and iPad app stores learning progress, collected dinosaurs and pictures, and preferences locally on the device. It does not require an account and does not include advertising or app-added analytics. The app does not request microphone, camera, or location access. The app does not transmit this learning progress to us.

Hope’s prepared voice recordings, pictures, and hatch animations are included in the app. The app does not send a child’s speech to a voice service. Learning progress does not sync between devices.

Resetting progress starts a new collection on the device. It is not a secure-erasure tool: local recovery data may remain. Deleting the app removes its app data from that device, though device backups are managed separately by Apple and your device settings. Apple may separately process installation, diagnostic, and feedback information under Apple’s policies. Avoid including children’s identifying information in feedback.

This informational website

The website explains Dino Letter Hunt and links to its App Store listing. It has no signup form, advertising, added analytics, or account system. The website’s own code does not store a visitor profile or ask for a child’s name.

Images, fonts and scripts are served with the website. Viewing a page makes normal network requests to deliver its content. Following an external link connects you to that service.

Hosting and technical information

Our website uses third-party hosting and security services. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested file paths, timestamps, and security cookies needed to deliver and protect the website. We cannot promise that visiting a hosted website involves no data processing.

We have not added third-party advertising, tracking pixels or analytics to this website. Provider security and operational records are separate from the learning progress saved by the app. Their retention is controlled by those providers, not by the app’s reset button.

Questions and changes

A parent or grown-up can contact Marcello Cavallo about support or privacy at support@dinoletterhunt.com. If you email us, your email address and the message you choose to send are used to respond to your request. Please do not send a child’s name, photo, voice recording, or other identifying information. The parent help page explains what is useful in a technical report.

We delete support emails within 90 days after the request is resolved. We also honor requests to delete a support conversation; email support@dinoletterhunt.com to request deletion.

We will update this page if the app’s data handling changes. Dino Letter Hunt is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
